My Story
As the first-born of Vietnamese immigrants, I have always understood the significance of making the most out of the opportunities given to me.

Throughout my childhood, I have faced numerous chronic conditions including Hodgkin's Lymphoma and a liver transplant. Instead of living in spite, I have allowed these experiences to shape me into the woman I am today. I have been given the opportunity to explore my passion for preventative medicine and public health.

Ultimately, I hope to serve my community by becoming a social epidemiologist and research effective intervention strategies for chronic diseases.
